    1. What Versa Gripps Size Should I Get?

It is very important to order the correct size in the style you desire. To do so, take a measurement of the circumference of the bony part of your wrist. Then, go to the style you are interested in and scroll down to the measuring chart. Your wrist size will match up with the correct size you should be wearing. Remember, Versa Gripps are NOT designed to fit tightly around your wrist. They should be secure but in the case of pulling exercises, they should actually be loose enough to land at the base of your hand. When worn correctly, the pressure is not on your wrist but is actually evenly distributed across the base of your hand.

    Wrist Measurement
    X-Small: 5” – 6”
    Small: 6” – 7”
    Reg/Large: 7” – 8”
    Extra Large: 8”+

    2. What's The Difference Between Versa Grips Xtreme Vs Pro?

Versa Gripps Xtreme comes with double stitched white non abrasive thread for enhanced durability.

The patented X-Shaped design exclusive to the Xtreme variant with the U-shaped bridging arch support helps to keep the bar from coming into contact with the vulnerable carpal tunnel area.

It also absorbs pressure from the weight bar, thus protecting the sensory receptors in the palm of your hand.

This is especially advantageous during all pushing exercises.

    3. How I Clean My Versa Gripps?

Use a cleaner such as a mild glass cleaner to cut out the grease and dirt buildup from everyday use. Spray cleaner lightly onto the grip portion and wipe clean. Please do not put the Versa Gripps in a washing machine or immerse them in water. Should the velcroportion become stuck with debris, pull clean with tweezers. Make sure to air your Versa Gripps out after each workout, and do not leave them in your gym bag to prevent them from developing an unpleasant odor. These precautionary measures will ensure a long life for your Versa Gripps.

    4. What Is The Gripping Material Made Out Of For The Versa Gripps?

Versa Gripps are made with our proprietary, “no-slip” material that is engineered exclusively for Versa Gripps USA. This material is very grippy and will remain so throughout the life of the product. The material is vegan and latex free.

    5. My Pair Of Versa Gripps Shows Some Visual Irregularities. Will This Affect The Performance Of The Product?

The grip material of Versa Gripps was developed over a 3-year period, and it is manufactured in the USA under a proprietary agreement. Due to the unique production process of this material, there may appear some distressed areas or irregularities. These marks are caused by the curing process of the material and will not affect the performance of the product.

In addition, the natural rubber foam of the wrist wrap may show small bubbles or holes on its sides. These are a naturally occurring effect of the curing process of the rubber and will not affect the performance of the wrist wrap portion.

    6. How To Use Versa Gripps?

Begin by inserting the end of the wrist strap through the rectangular metal ring so it creates a large loop, then slide your hand into the wrist strap. Once in, grasp the palm piece securely, aligning your thumb with the cutout and tighten the strap with the other hand. The Versa Gripp should fit comfortably around the wrist (not too tight!) with the palm piece standing up in front of your hand. There is a cutout on each of the palm pieces to allow for freedom of thumb movement. You will also find a label within the right-hand grip that indicates it is for that hand.

If you have a large hand and find it difficult to maneuver your hand through the loop, there is an optional way of putting Versa Gripps on. First, securely hold the palm piece in your hand making sure the thumb cutout matches. Then, use your other hand to weave the long wrist strap through the metal ring. Tighten the wrist strap by gently pulling the strap back onto itself.

    7. Why Versa Gripps?

Lifting weights can be risky without the right support, and injuries are common. Versa Gripps are a game-changer in the strength training community. Designed with user safety in mind, here’s what makes Versa Gripps different from other weightlifting accessories on the market:

    • Versa Gripps have a quick-release safety feature that makes it easy to release the weight, reducing the risk of accidents and injuries.
    • The palm piece is self-supportive, so both hands can be wrapped simultaneously around the bar.
    • Versa Gripps help users improve their form—and better form reduces the risk of injuries, especially from repetitive movements.
    • The Xtreme Versa Gripps series features bridging arch support that allows weight to bypass the vulnerable area in the center of the palm; this helps protect the user against carpal tunnel.

    8. The Science Behind Versa Gripps?

Our grip is our weakest and most vulnerable link to a successful workout regimen. Like a chain, we are only as strong as our weakest link. The success of our workout depends upon our connection to the weight. Fatigue, due to high repetitions using lighter weights or failure due to a heavy weight, is caused by an unsupported and/or unprotected grip. This can result in dropping the weight, cutting a set short due to loss of focus, or even injury.

The grip is comprised of a group of small finger flexor muscles in the forearm. These finger flexor muscles (see diagram) are connected to the fingers by tendons passing through the wrists. Also running through the wrists are arteries for blood flow, and nerves. These small finger flexor muscles allow the hands to hold onto and carry the weight on the weightlifting bar. In order to gain maximum development and isolation of the larger muscles in the body - such as the back, arms, and chest - the grip and hands need to be protected and supported.

VERSA GRIPPS ELIMINATE GRIP FATIGUE AND FAILURE
Versa Gripps allow the user to concentrate on the larger muscle groups while not thinking or worrying about their grip. When you no longer have to worry about losing your grip or your grip becoming fatigued, you will then be able to concentrate on and appreciate the mind/muscle connection. Huge gains will be experienced.

    VERSATILE
Versa Gripps are used for all pushing (as in bench press) and pulling (as in dead lift) movements in strength training. The patented Versa Gripps take the place of gloves, lifting straps, hooks, and wrist supports. By using Versa Gripps, both types of movement are accomplished safely, easily, and comfortably.

    SELF-SUPPORTING
Unlike lifting straps that are difficult to use (particularly over your head), Versa Gripps are flexible, self-supporting, and stand up in front of your hand. This design makes it quick and easy to reach them with the tips of the fingers on the same hand that they are worn on.
The gripping portion is made of a proprietary material that is ruggedly reinforced. This gripping material, engineered exclusively for Versa Gripps, is designed to remain tacky and grippy throughout the life of the product. The grip is wide enough to cover the width of the hand offering protection from the knurls of the weightlifting bar as well as protection from calluses. Other weightlifting gloves encase the entire hand and become a breeding ground for bacteria and disease. Versa Gripps allow the hand to breath, offering freedom of movement for the fingers and the thumb.
Another valuable feature is their ability (should it become necessary) to immediately release the weight. Simply let go. This is not possible when using straps or hooks.

Please keep in mind, though, that Versa Gripps have a useful lifecycle. This will vary depending on how the product is used and if it is cared for properly. We compare Versa Gripps to a pair of running shoes. If you go running every day for a year, you will need a new pair of shoes each year or so. Versa Gripps are similar. If you work out with them five days each week, they will eventually wear out, and you will need a new pair.
